Making Some Big Noise at Big Noise Studios!

Big Noise Studios

Our latest rehearsals brought us to a new town, a new venue and lots more new songs to learn.

The aptly named Big Noise Studios in Northampton was our home last weekend as we packed in another afternoon of rock ‘n roll awesomeness. We were trying so hard, Baz put a stick through his snare skin. OUCH!

Our thoughts are now turning to defending the highly coveted Constructions Rocks crown we won last year and which rockin’ good tracks to perform. This year it’s being held at the world renowned Scala, in Kings Cross, London again on Thursday 6th October and we’re going to have to be on our game to win it a second year in a row! 🙂 But we love a challenge!

Last Call For Zero Charm … Gate Closing

Freebird Zero - The Eagle Has Landed

Freebird Zero – The Eagle Has Landed

Exciting times here at Charm Towers as we finally take delivery of our new Jumbo Jet … or ‘Freebird Zero’ as we prefer to call her. A snip at just $356,000,000.

The paint’s barely dry on this behemoth and we’re off on our ‘Pub Crawl Tour 2016’. We think we’ve got just enough room for Baz’s drums.

Our accountant thinks we’ve been a but rash, but who cares … we can now spread our rare brand of Rock all over the world!

Rock ‘n’ Roll ‘n’ Yaw 🙂

“A Day At The Ark” Out Now!

Our eagerly awaited new album, “A Day At The Ark” is released on Feb 1, 2016.

CD CoverRecorded at the world famous State of the Ark studios in west London and Engineered by Chris West, a dude who’s worked with some of the finest rock outfits to grace the ‘earwaves’, this was always going to be a tour de force. We think it’s the Charm’s finest work to date.

Zero Charm – Award Winners!

Zero Charm take top honours at this year’s world renowned “Construction Rocks” Battle of the Bands.

ZCWinnersA packed out house at London’s top rock venue, Scala, were treated to a night of pure rock n’ roll magic. It was also the scene of unbridled joy as Zero Charm took the coveted top prize after a storming performance.

Up against 9 other very strong contender for the title, Zero Charm had to be on song to impress the ever-critical ears of the Judges, Peter French (Atomic Rooster), Gina Way (Founder, Eel Pie Club), Chris Liddle (Chairman, HLM) and Sarah Richardson (Editor, Building Magazine). But with a powerful and crowd pleasing set, the ‘Charm’s crown was secured for another year.

“Well, the dust has finally settled on a monumentally successful and brilliant Construction Rocks event on Thursday 24th September 2015. The Construction Rocks extravaganza took place at Scala Kings Cross which turned out to be pretty much the perfect venue for the ten participating bands as well as the 575 fans and supporters. The Judges loved it, the compère loved it and the founders of the event Bill Price and Nigel Fraser loved it.” Construction Rock.

Rocking Scala!

Quotes from the night …

But the big gong for overall winner went to Construction Rocks veterans Zero Charm with a storming performance featuring songs from the likes of Bon Jovi and Guns N’ Roses. With both the crowd and the judges on their side it was a well-deserved triumph.” James Clegg, Building

I’m still getting my breath back…Zero Charm are awesome!” An impressed crowd member
